Arthur Season Bible
Arthur Season Bible
Arthur has been a favorite among parents and children alike for decades as it follows the lives of relatable characters and their experiences that also mirror the world outside. While the show concluded in 2022, there has not been a TV show equipped with the same features that made this show vastly popular and extremely important. One of the main reasons why Arthur worked so well over the years is due to the show's playful way of tackling all issues, from current events and cultural differences to issues among friends and family dynamics. The show has credibility and the capacity to enfold the biggest topic that is shaping the lives of children right now; AI, social media, and media literacy.
This new season of Arthur will be ten episodes long, and feature two new characters, two brothers Nuri and Mateo who move in with the Rattles Family. Diversifying family situations and presenting a character who is living with someone other than their parents is an undertone that could lend itself to viewers as a learning opportunity for how different kids grow up and how every childhood experience is valid and gives an understanding of inclusivity, understanding and normalcy. Nuri will also provide a type of sarcasm and high energy that hasn’t been explored within the class. These new characters will also give D.W. a new crush, and Arthur a new friend.
This new season will also hold undertones of media literacy. As technology rapidly inserts itself into everyday life it’s important for young children to be able to properly interact, fact-check, utilize, and reject specific websites, apps, or services. Past seasons of Arthur have dealt with computers, iPhones, and blogs, and it’s only natural that as a new generation of Arthur watchers tune into these episodes, the world of El Wood City should accurately reflect the current media landscape. These episodes can also address children’s fears and doubts about the current media landscape and its polarizing or influencing nature. This season’s theme allows for a wide array of stories to take place but also can highlight critical thinking skills, leading children to recognize the media’s negative effects and understand the importance of fact-checking (Bulger & Davison, 2018). Consider this new season an encore for the beloved show, and a favor to kids everywhere who would like to see themselves and their world on TV once again.

Francine decides to write a paper using it and tries to keep it a secret but winds up telling everyone about the cool tool and winds up using the website from Buster, Binky, and Muffy. The AI is a mini person that at first appears to be an incredible tool but over time there are flaws, and Francine questions her authenticity. Mr Ratburn finds out kids have been using the tool and asks them to come clean so they can re-do the paper. Francine refuses but then gets caught by her sister who reads her paper aloud, showing Francine it’s not in her writing style at all. The kids re-write their papers and the talking website’s free trial is over. In the end, Mr Ratburn is seen making an account.

His friends think it’s fake, raising suspicion about Nuri’s skills. Nuri gets upset with Brain for editing the videos how he did without her permission and making her new friends not trust her. To make it up to her, Brain organizes a skating event and allows Nuri to demonstrate her cool moves and apologizes for editing it the way he did. Buster asks if Brain can edit alien videos next.
